We've been called a “Doggie Utopia,” a “Canine Shangri la,” a “Wonderland of Waggling Tails” -- but to us its simply Canyon View Ranch, a place where dogs frolic together all day on manicured lawns, romping over ramps, playing hide-and-seek through tunnels, and wading in their own luxurious bone-shaped swimming pool. And all the ball-chasing they can dream of. As Time Magazine said, “Forget the dog – I want to stay there!”

We've always enjoyed going to Disneyland, and often wondered why there wasn’t a place like it for dogs. That’s when we decided to create a Magic Kingdom for canines.

In 1998, we set out looking for our dream and found it in the countryside of Topanga Canyon, located in the hills above Malibu. And so began our adventure.

It seemed that everybody had the same dream for their dogs – we were just crazy enough to create it. Canyon View Ranch is all about giving your dog a well-deserved vacation. We love that they’re all having such a great time here – but to tell you the truth, we don’t know who’s getting more joy out of this – the dogs or us!

Giti Skolnick is our Health and Safety Supervisor who monitors each dog’s weight, temperature, dietary and nutritional needs, administers any supplements and medications that dogs may be on, and performs daily checks on each dog to insure that our guests are safe and healthy. These are just a few of the reasons why your dog is in safe and caring hands here at Canyon View Ranch.

David Barrios is our Ranch Foreman and the person who's been with us from the very beginning. When you admire our lush gardens and plush lawns, the rock work, fountains and waterfalls, David's the guy to thank.
